Soaring Circle Members Evening with Barbara Ernst Prey

Saturday, July 7, 5:30 to 7:30 pm

A reception to thank our members who support the Gilley with membership gifts of $500 and more. Barbara Prey will converse about her work creating stunning landscapes in watercolor and oils. This special exhibition is a unique opportunity to explore the work of a leading contemporary artist, known for pushing the traditional boundaries of the watercolor medium.

Neighborhood House, Northeast Harbor
A gala evening to support the exhbition and educational programs of the Wendell Gilley Museum. With fifty notable wines from the Pacific Coast to sample, delicious food pairings, jazz music, and good conversation, it is an evening not to miss! Family Program: Art and Science activites

Tuesdays, beginning June 26, 3:30 to 4:45 pm
Encouraging the creative spark in all of us, we offer art and nature program for families for children ages 5 and up with their adult companions.
Materials are provided for the changing projects through the summer, check our Facebook page or call for details about each week's project.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Free with admission or membership.

Drawing from Nature Workshop
Thursday, July 19, 5 to 7 pm
Jordan Chalfant, whose work is on exhibit in Drawing from Nature will share insights into her process for drawing and painting and her excitement for exploring nature. She will provide coaching as participants practice sketching and try different techniques to capture observations. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. $15 for museum members, $20 for all others.
