UPCOMING Events

Printmaking Workshop: Holiday Cards
Tuesday, November 28, 5:30-7pm
We had so much fun with printmaking in October, that we decided to do more! Carve a block and print your own design on a set of cards to send or share. All materials are provided, though we suggest you come with an idea for the image- whether it be a holiday bird or other festive theme, that you would like to make. Images from our previous workshop are here.

Limit of 16 participants; pre-registration required.
Fee: $15 members / $20 non-members

Holiday Open House and Carving Show
Sunday, December 10, Noon–4 pm

Carvings of the elusive American Bittern will emerge from the sedges and a descent of Red-bellied Woodpeckers will also appear from our recent classes. New pieces by members and works by student artists from the local schools will brighten the museum. We hope you will come admire the art, join the fireside celebration, and toast the winter season with us.

Family Program: Felt and Embroidered Bird Ornaments
Saturday, December 16, 10-11:30am
Using felt cut outs and embroidery floss we will stitch up some sweet bird ornaments to brighten our homes. Encouraging the creative spark in all of us, we offer art and nature program for families for children ages 5 and up with their adult companions. Materials are provided. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Free with admission or membership.

Read more about our carving program and member's carving club.
