The Museum library, particularly strong in the subject of ornithology, is available for reference to all, and Museum members are entitled to borrow materials. The Museum maintains a collection of study skins and mounted birds for use on site. The library is used primarily by artists, naturalists, and teachers seeking accurate reference material for art or science projects. The library also has an extensive collection of videos in a variety of subjects ranging from children’s programming to carving techniques. The collection of carving patterns created by Wendell Gilley is also offered as reference material for interested carvers.
