Directions

From Ellsworth
Follow Bar Harbor Road/Route 3 toward Mount Desert Island. Bear right at the head of the island and follow Route 102/198 south. Proceed through the stoplight in Somesville and continue on Route 102 until arriving in Southwest Harbor, where Route 102 becomes Main Street. Turn left onto Herrick Road, and you will see the Gilley Museum located immediately on the right.

From Bar Harbor
Travel west on Mount Desert Street to the intesection with Route 233/Eagle Lake Road. Bear left at the intersection and continue west on Route 233/Eagle Lake Road until coming to a stop sign. Turn right onto Route 198/Sound Drive, then turn left at the stoplight in Somesville onto Route 102 south. Continue on Route 102 into Southwest Harbor, where Route 102 becomes Main Street. Turn left onto Herrick Road, and you will see the Gilley Museum located immediately on the right.
